A monumental breakthrough album in hard rock history, 'Lovedrive' (1979) represents a pivotal turning point for the German rock titans, Scorpions. Marking the debut of lead guitarist Matthias Jabs alongside memorable guest appearances by Michael Schenker, the album perfectly balances aggressive heavy metal riffs with soulful, melodic ballads. Featuring timeless classics such as "Loving You Sunday Morning", "Always Somewhere", "Holiday", and the thunderous instrumental "Coast to Coast", 'Lovedrive' cemented the band's international stardom.
