Limited 19 disc set. Peter Hammill first came to prominence as the founder member and voice of the legendary progressive rock group Van der Graaf Generator. Alongside his work with Van der Graaf Generator, Peter Hammill has enjoyed a long career as an innovative and ground-breaking solo artist. Beginning with his first solo album 'Fool's Mate' in 1971, Peter recorded a series of acclaimed albums for both Charisma Records and Virgin Records covering a wide range of moods, but all undeniably and uniquely original and ground-breaking. The 2025 CD/Blu-ray presents the "Drums & Wires" album and a number of additional tracks in Dolby Atmos, mixed & produced by Steven Wilson as he approached an album he first mixed in 2014 and again brings a fresh aural perspective to one of 1979’s most memorable albums – a line ascribed to the 2014 mixes that’s even more accurate now.
Joining the new Dolby Atmos mix is all of the audio material first presented on the (now long-unavailable) 2014 edition when Steven Wilson remixed the album in new stereo and 5.1 editions alongside a number of additional tracks all presented on Blu-ray here with minor revisions & a set of stereo instrumentals of the album.
The original album mix is also included in High-Resolution stereo. The Blu-Ray edition also includes the DJM mixes – songs earmarked as potential single releases & a number of full demo sessions tracking the complete evolution of the album – a virtual boxed set on a single Blu-Ray disc.
All of the stereo material is presented in 24/96 LPCM stereo while the 5.1 material appears in DTS-HD MA audio format.

Discs Two and Three contain Marillion’s December 19th, 1987 concert at The Edinburgh Playhouse, remixed by Michael Hunter.
Disc Four contains the demos from the 1999 EMI 2CD remaster, along with four previously unreleased demos of Clutching material.

The Visit: The Definitive Edition package contains five discs (4 Compact Discs and 1 Blu-Ray) including five hours of previously unreleased content. In addition, The Visit is the first ever Loreena McKennitt recording to be mixed in Surround Sound inc Dolby Atmos. Available in a deluxe, limited edition, DVD-sized and book-shaped box set containing a 32-page booklet including previously unseen photographs and a four part essay, written by Loreena, discussing the recording of The Visit and other aspects of its 30-year legacy. Features 19 previously-unreleased live performances including a 1992 solo radio session, 2016 trio tour recordings and a 1992 CBC Radio in-concert broadcast. The Visit has sold more than 2 million copies worldwide including over 700,000 copies in the United States, over 300,000 in Canada, 150,000 in Germany and Brazil and over 50,000 in each of Spain, Italy, France, Turkey and BeNeLux. CD #1 is the original recording, remastered in 2004. CD #2 includes two archival performances: an August 1992 CBC recording of an Ontario Place concert with McKennitt's full band, as well as a 1992 edition of World Café, recorded live for NPR at WXPN in Philadelphia featuring live solo performances and interview clips. CD #3 includes a 1991 interview with Tim Wilson and a previously unreleased 2020 round-table discussion between McKennitt and several of her colleagues and collaborators in the making and the release of this recording. CD #4 offers a binaural headphone mix for those who prefer to listen on their mobile devices, as well as a soundboard recording of six trio performances of songs from The Visit captured on her 2016 US tour. The album featured four singles, including UK top 10 hits ‘Love Action (I Believe in Love)’ and ‘Open Your Heart’, as well as the transatlantic No 1 ‘Don’t You Want Me’ (Virgin Records’ first British and American chart-topping single). The album was also No 1 in the UK albums charts and peaked at No 3 in the USA, with The Human League being seen one of the leaders in the so-called Second Invasion of British pop bands in America.
With its hit singles coupled with the darker tone of some of the album tracks (‘Seconds’, ‘I Am The Law’), Dare’s stature and influence has only grown over time and it is regularly voted one of best albums of the 1980s in music polls. Q Magazine placed the album at No 69 in its list of ‘100 Greatest British Albums Ever’, at the turn of the Millennium.
The SDE exclusive blu-ray features a new Dolby Atmos Mix of Dare, created by John Barrett at Abbey Road Studios. Additionally, the disc includes a 5.1 Surround Sound Mix of the album and instrumental mixes in both Atmos and 5.1. Alongside this content sits the original 1981 stereo mix and bonus A-sides, B-sides, remixes and instrumentals from the original singles (in stereo).

CD+Blu-ray. Free Hand was Gentle Giant's seventh album originally released in July 1975. This album was the most commercially successful of the band's career reaching the top 40 albums in Billboard Magazine. It stands as the culmination of the band's maturity, following the successes of 'In A Glass House' & 'The Power & The Glory'. Having toured Europe & North America non-stop in the years prior to this release with artists like Jethro Tull, Yes, Zappa etc, the band had gone from strength to strength. By the time 'Freehand' was released Gentle Giant' had become a major headliner in it's own right. All the members were Multiinstrumentalists. The band were never afraid of surprising an audience with a 4 part recorder ensemble followed by a vibraphone solo, all the while rocking the audience and thoroughly enjoying themselves onstage at the same time. Gentle Giant albums featured many songs with both literary subjects as well as social and personal commentary on life as rock musicians. Free Hand has more than most. The title of the album and first track were so named as the band had just changed record labels and management and felt unshackled by prior contractual obligations. Putting these issues behind them upon it's first release, Gentle Giant embarked on an extensive tour of North America and Europe, plus a short tour of the UK, to promote the album. The incredible range of Gentle Giant's music is evident hroughout this album. From the intricate vocal fretwork of 'On Reflection' and the delicatemedieval flavor of 'Talybont' the Celtic-tinged rock of 'Time To Kill' and the jagged rhythms of 'Just The Same' all those diverse elements which made the band so strikingly original are skillfully blended and perfectly executed. Award winning producer and musician STEVEN WILSON has added his delicate touch in remixing Free Hand in Dolby Atmos & 5.1 surround sound. His tonal range and painstaking attention to sound quality make Free Hand sound as fresh today as it did on first release. A fitting tribute to the compositional skills and expertise of five dedicated musicians. Steven Wilson's remixed version of 'Freehand' will be released in Dolby Atmos, 5.1 surround sound accompanied by custom animated visuals for each track on Blu-ray. In addition, the original flat mix, original 1975 quad mix and an instrumental mix will all be included in a Digipack CD. A double vinyl album will also be released with both the original flat mix and Steven Wilson remixed version.

Bryan Ferry’s 1985 solo album, Boys and Girls, is now available to pre-order as a limited edition 40th anniversary SDE exclusive blu-ray audio. It features an immersive 2025 Dolby Atmos Mix, amongst other content.
Ferry’s sixth studio album features the classic hit single ‘Slave To Love‘, along with other singles ‘Don’t Stop The Dance‘ and ‘Windswept‘. Musicians on the record include Guy Fletcher, Nile Rodgers, David Gilmour, Mark Knopfler, Tony Levin, Omar Hakim, David Sanborn and many more.

Deluxe four CD + Blu-ray edition. Contains remastered versions of the original album mix and the rare 1974 Greek LP mix (which featured considerably different mixes to the original LP release). The Blu-ray disc features a 96 kHz / 24-bit Atmos and 5.1 up mixes and stereo mix, all of which were overseen by Vangelis. The Blu-ray also contains bonus video content of a 28-minute episode of the French television show Discorama from June 1972 featuring Vangelis performing in the television studio and talking about the album (with English subtitles added). This set also includes a lavishly illustrated book featuring a new essay and original interviews with the band plus many previously unseen photographs that Vangelis sourced from his various archives around Europe not long before his sad passing in May 2022. 666 by Aphrodite's Child, released in 1972, is a landmark in the realm of progressive rock, hailed as a daring and innovative concept album even by prog-rock standards. This ambitious double album, spearheaded by Vangelis and lyricist Costas Ferris, explores themes from the Book of Revelation, blending rock, jazz, and world music with avant-garde experimentation. The album's unique blend of electronic effects, intricate guitar solos, and the evocative vocal performances of Demis Roussos pushed the boundaries of 1970s rock music. Though "666" faced some controversy and initial resistance due to it's unorthodox themes and length, it has gained a cult following and is now considered a classic in the progressive rock genre. While it did not achieve commercial success upon release, it's legacy as a masterpiece of experimental rock has only grown over time.

As a member of the Swiss cult band Yello, Boris Blank has been shaping the development of electronic music for over four decades. Even as an established solo artist, the sound visionary has anchored his unchanging DNA in global pop culture, which is still regularly quoted by modern acts today.
With “Resonance”, Boris Blank is now releasing his third studio album, on which he defies the laws of space and time with a weightless fusion of ambient, trance and electro! The twelve tracks on “Resonance” were originally commissioned for the FORTYSEVEN thermal spa near Zurich, designed by Swiss star architect Mario Botta.

Hergest Ridge is the second studio album by English musician and songwriter Mike Oldfield, released on 30 August 1974 by Virgin Records. The unexpected commercial and critical success of his debut album, Tubular Bells (1973), affected Oldfield, who decided against touring and avoided the press with his newfound fame. Instead, he retreated to Hergest Ridge on the England–Wales border and wrote the follow-up, which he recorded in 1974 at The Manor in Oxfordshire, with Tom Newman returning as co-producer. Similar to Oldfield's first, the album is a single composition split into two parts covering different moods and musical styles.
